Forever People is an interactive public art project in which the audience calls a phone number listed on a billboard to receive messages from a couple from the future.
The project was commissioned by Art in the Loop and presented on their ARTwall located at downtown Kansas City, Missouri. Audio episodes were updated bi-weekly and ran for nine months.
The project was featured on NPR and was awarded the American Public Art Award Year in Review Award 2011.
Contribution:
Designed interactive narrative for public art commission.
Wrote episodic audio script which was delivered through a bi-weekly voice mails across nine months.
Directed voice actors, edited and mixed audio files, and implemented assets into database.
Story
Forever People is a science-fiction story about a a nameless couple sending recorded messages into the past to prevent a dystopian future. However the two begin to use the recordings to confess their struggles of sustaining a relationship amid holographic love affairs and android rivalries.
